The Room
A freestanding structure set apart from the main house, reached by a gravel path through lavender and rosemary. The Garden Pavilion exists at its own pace.
The Garden Pavilion is separated from the main house by a walled garden planted with lavender, rosemary, fig, and pomegranate. The path to it takes approximately forty-five seconds to walk. We consider those forty-five seconds part of the experience. Inside, a king bed sits beneath a linen canopy. A wood-burning fireplace takes one wall. An outdoor bathtub, set in a private courtyard, is filled each evening with water heated by the estate's solar system and scented with eucalyptus from the surrounding hills.
